Here it is:

I used the pattern from here www.sheepinthecity.prettyposies.com/archives/000079.html and a lovely hand dyed yarn from handpaintedyarn.com!  The dying is random, but ended up making almost an argyle pattern!

I love the colors.  The pattern did indeed come out very interesting.  I think I may now have to try one.  Did you use two skeins of yarn?

thanks...I only used one skein...they have over 200 yards in them, and I can wrap it once around my neck, and it's still long enough...

Wow - I love how the yarn produced a pseudo-argyle!  I'm working on the same pattern, but am currently stalled due to the mega-slowness of Joann Crafts in their special order capabilities.  Hosers!  Anyhow, how many stitches did you CO, and did you use a bulky yarn?  I may have to try this scarf in a worsted wt. yarn just to see what happens.  Nice job!

Thanks! I didn't use bulky; it's worsted weight, and I think I cast on about 26 stitches because I wanted it a little skinny, so that I can wrap it around my neck easily.  Good luck getting your yarn!  Wink

That is one happening scarf!  I love the original pattern and the way your yarn worked makes it that bit more funky.  Great job!!

The pattern this creates is astonishing.  You must have been giddy with excitement as it took form.  Your scarf is lovely.
