I thought I recognized that lady, she was on a Claudine Hellmuth collage card.  Kudos to your scissor skills Phizzy Smiley

I just can't bear to throw anything useful or pretty away! The lacy paper on the back came from another craftster's card too Cheesy

I just came back from a Christmas lunch with the girls and when they cleared up the remains of the crackers they gave me the bag of wrappings and tissue crowns to do something with...they know me too well! Roll Eyes

It's great to see all your four together babbetto, that all look great!

I've received my first house! A beautiful blue house from crafty_dame. Blue is one of my favourite colours, and I love the layering and postage stamps and 'tiddlywinks'! Grin

My last two little houses arrived yesterday, behold the awesomeness from gingerquilts and amaryllisroze!!

front and back of ginger's house-its all pieced of black and red fabric, with rows of 5 buttons cause its #5 (a special number to me Grin) and covered with black netting.  The back has appliqued home sweet home on it-how do you sew on such small letters?!  totally amazing and fabulous!

and aroze's house (sorry I seem to have forgotten to take a back pic...)  The address is #5 Heart Lane with a chunky winged heart and a beautiful quote...."From this day forward, you shall not walk alone.  My heart will be your shelter, and my arms will be your home"  An apt quote on so many levels, I'm getting a little verklempt just reading it....

Thank you so much gingerquilts and amaryllisroze for the wonderful additions to my little village, I adore them and the special thoughts they evoke Smiley

Wicked fun swap rackycoo and Phizzychick, thanks for organizing.  Can't wait till the next one!

Whee! All of the wee things are so lovely. I have all of my little houses now but it might take a day or two to post them... family is coming for a funeral which means little web time...

I get a little verklempt from it as well!

I've been extremely lax in commenting so I'm going to take the lazy way and say that everyone has sent wonderful houses! I can't wait for round 2.

Great minds think alike with the address on alteredmommy's houses aroze!

I am also excited about another round.  Knickertwist, sorry about your loss!  I'm glad the house made it.  If you want me to post a pic I'd be happy to.  Anyone that wants a sneak peak can check it on on my flickr page

If you scroll down knickertwist's is the gnome house.

Happy crafting everyone!  I'm working on Christmas presents now.   Smiley
