So long story short i have this favorite bag of mine, its brown leather made by sonoma (usually sold at kohls i think), and i decided i would "try" and draft up a similar style bag but with plaid, stretchy dark denim and black lace. this is what i came up with and i am really pleased with it. why is it that i CANNOT follow a pattern, but if i think it up it comes out as good as i could ever hope. Roll Eyes

Very cute bag.  I am totally with you on the pattern vs making your own.  I cant follow patterns either.  Looks like you dont need to if you can come up with that on your own.  Great job!!!
