Ok so I just finished the hello kitty granny square and hat and purse for my little ones... I just realized that I need something boy oriented for my little brother... I was think something along the same lines as the hello kitty square but maybe I don't know a frog or a dinosaur or something.... any one have any ideas or better yet links to any kind of pattern?

BTW I'm so excited for Christmas my little girls are getting hello kitty hats, scarfs, purses, matching mittens and an ornament!!! Isn't that adorable?! I'm so excited b/c I finsihed the hat and scarf last night and it took me no time once I figured out the kitty square.

You could do Hello Cthulhu!

I found this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=185852.0  I'm sure you could make a square out of it by just adjusting the Hello Kitty square a bit. ^_^

Oh, there was a lovely lady on craftster that made a ninja turtle granny square.  And, she posted the free pattern on here too!  That would be nice for a boys gift.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

I was curious to see what ninja turtle granny squares looked like so I did a search http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=270555.0
They remind me of the little turtles pet stores sell.
