i made this owl bag. it's pretty much just a jordy bag with piping and an applique. i used buttons for the owl eyes. i'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. it has a magnetic button closure.

close up of the owl. i think he's pretty cute.

lining, matches the piping on the front

sorry for the crappy cell phone pics Sad

Can you please direct me to a pattern for the "jordy" bag? I adore this bag & I would like to make one for my daughter for Christmas. YOU DID OUTDO YOURSELF! THIA IS PRECIOUS!

Also, where did you get such gorgeous fabrics?

Does anyone know of a swap type program between us here in the USA and other countries? I would love to trade fabrics with someone from another country yard for yard.

Thank you!!
Terri

thanks!  the courderoy fabric was a remnant that i picked up for less than a dollar.  the other fabrics i've had so long i have no idea where they came from. i'm pretty much in love with the fabric on the bottom of this bag but have no idea where it came from Sad

Polly Peanut: thanks for posting the link. those bags are so easy to make they're addicting!

thanks for all the comments. you guys are the best.

Thank you very much for the link and the response on the fabric. Would anyone like to swap fabrics with me yard for yard? I's love to swap with someone from another country.

Thanks again so much,
Terri
