When my kids were small, I sewed for them (and their friends) all the time.  When they stopped being proud of their homemade items, I quit and even gave away my machine.  Well, after a full decade of no machine in the house...  I have a new machine (thanks dear hubby) and have rediscovered my love of sewing!  Of course; I'm exhausted because instead of sleeping, I sew all night, but thats okay too.  Just wanted to share my excitement with people who would understand it!

Congrats on getting back into the groove!  I took many breaks, and then did nothing but sew for a long time.  Now I've have to slow down, and am bummed about that.
But one thing I cannot do is sew at night.  If I'm not in the sewing room by 7pm, and out by 10 at the latest, I'm making more mistakes than not.
I have off the whole week of Thanksgiving, and look so forward to making my Christmas gifts and finishing my DD's Christmas dress.

If you are interested in making me some knitted dishcloths, contact me for a swap!  I'll sew you something or gift you with supplies!
