Wow!  These lap quilts are super beautiful....but what is a lap quilt?  I'm assuming it's smaller than a normal quilt, but...do you just put them on your lap while watching tv or something along those lines...reading a book, etc???

Exactly!  The last round I made two for my kids for Christmas and they're perfect!

And that's without any sashing between blocks... they could be much bigger if you wanted...  I love them and so do my littles.  It's a great first quilting project!  And this is such a fun way to do it!

Thank you for explaining this to me. I love the pics of your kids...to cute! Smiley

Since I finished all my blocks, I worked on a baby quilt today.
I finished the blocks but can't decide on a setting, I'd love your input.

Also If you have another idea, I am all ears.
Thanks

I'm with everyone else, option one!  It looks lovely.
Isn't it great how quickly a rail fence quilt can be worked up? It's my go-to pattern for a fast baby quilt.
