KRB- I really like the blocks you've done so far! I especially like tha Balkan Puzzle for whoopdedoo.

whoopdedoo_5- I really like the little 9 patches in your blocks- so cute. You're so quick! I love it.

LibbyK- What kind of iron do you use? Your seams are so perfectly pressed. Also, I think the block for whoopdedoo_5 is really great for her fabrics.

and Sandy- WOW what a labor intensive block! It's so cute with your dainty fabrics. I can see why you'd only want to make one, but I know a bunch of us wouldn't mind if you made some more And BTW- your trick of taking a picture of the address label with the fabric is a good one. Anything helps when trying to stay organized!



and a reminder to everyone:
If you have to add a border to bring the block up to size, make sure it's bigger than 1/4" wide. If it's too close to 1/4", it gets buried in the seam allowance. If you are using a site like quilterscache.com, be sure to use a SCANT 1/4" seam allowance- they are notorious for having their blocks come up a bit short. I have definitely fallen victim to this many times and I know it was a problem for some last round!
Everyone's doing really great so far and there are some fantastic blocks in the gallery already- keep up the good work!

I totally want to stay caught up with all the blocks..I still have three more to do, cut, and waiting for me and its killing me knowing that they are sitting in my project box by the sewing machine...not sewed! lol...I am sure after thanksgiving at 12 I will work on them... I'm loving this day off!

Yay, I got both of my groups sent out today! Now I just have to work on stuff for my craft fair next week, and then I can start stitching on all this pretty fabric I keep receiving!

The blocks so far are very fun to look at!
