I've offered to make my friend a dress to be a bridesmaid at a wedding next February. We're both plus size so I know what it's like finding formal wear (or anything RTW) that fits right.

She sent me this photo of a dress she likes but now I need to find a pattern thats similar. Anyone seen one? And yes plus size please.

TIA  Smiley

Hoping to open my own Etsy store next year. Love creating clothes for my 2yr old Princess and myself.

A few ideas, which might need tweaking depending on how close it needs to be

Simplicity 3541 - The V-neck version with little sheer sleeves, or alternatively a sheer bolero (might be easier and more versatile for re-wearing).  Or maybe the halter version, if she likes halters - the photo almost looks like a halter with a sheer coverup attached.
Simplicity 4277 - lengthened into a dress, again with sheer sleeves if you like (or if required)

Well, those are about the best I could find.  Not perfect, I know, but if it needs to match the photo better it wouldn't be too difficult to accomplish - for example, add a midriff panel with that ruching (or is it pleating?).
