I finally got my hands on a few sheets of shrinky dink plastic the other day- at a thrift store, of all places!  Needless to say, I'm hooked!

My first attempt (after a bracelet charm I haven't yet gotten a picture of) was these cute Yellow Submarines!

After that was Ringo Starr...

Then Calvin and Hobbes...

Then Kirby...

And finally a Mario pin for a friend's birthday! It was supposed to be a keychain, but the little hoop I put on top ended up getting bent under and melted to the back, so it was impossible to get it on a chain. Sad  It looks pretty large in this pic, but it's not that huge! Maybe 2" tops.

I'm addicted. Cheesy What's next...? Monkees logos and more Beatletoons! Wink

Did you freehand those? They look so perfect, even the colours look like the originals!

Thanks! I did a mix of freehand and tracing for most of them, and the colours was just some intense blending! Wink

ZOMG!  Lurve the Beatles themed items.

I was actually looking for yellow submarine items such as the sub and blue meanies today but couldn't find the right thing for my project. Sad

Hmm, I'm not sure of exact measurements, but maybe the 'before' pic will help?

That's my pinky, by the way. Wink I'd assume maybe around 2" long... maybe a little more.

hey thanks! I love my pink keyboard, hehe! It's one of those rubber ones that rolls up, kind of annoying since I use it with a laptop... Wink I got it at Staples- not sure if there are Staples/Office Depot stores outside of Canada, though!

Super cute, this reminds me that I need to buy my Shrinky Dink paper for the holiday presents. My girls decided that Grandma is in need of earrings. Figured that would be fairly easy, of course that is just in my mind we'll see. lol Adding 10 little hands to something tends to add to the excitment.
BTW my DH works for Office Depot and they are located in almost all 50 of the US states. You can also get most products online.
