The second I seen this pattern I just knew I had to get it...TWIRL TOP & PANTS by SEWBABY (sz 1-4). It came together rather nicely(first time doing pants) and it was pretty easy to make. It was my first time doing ruffles/gathering Tongue, not my favorite thing but I love the effect. I ended up with some 'less ruffled spots' than others so next time I will pay more attention to that. This is definitely my favorite new pattern Grin.

Here's the completed set. Sewed a small button to the front of the pants so I could tell the front from the back Lips sealed.

Here some action shots BEFORE I added the applique to the pants

Here we are playing hide and go seek (guess who's 'IT' Wink Huh

THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!

Crocheting is like prostitution.  First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.  Maybe that is why they call us Hookers?

Love the outfit!  I too had trouble with gathering....until I found this tute by Vegbee....how to gather using clear elastic.  It works wonderfully!

Thanks for the link Giraffecat! I know Vegbee has some other great tutorials but I didn't even think to look for a gathering one Huh. I don't have any clear elastic on hand but I definitely will have to find some ASAP!!!

Thanks everyone for the sweet comments! She wore this to a birthday party this weekend and everyone loved it. I had a hard time convincing some that Imade it Tongue.
