I've seen people making those all over this site so I tried it my self and thought I am kinda going for a retro diner feel in my kitchen. So why not display them like people do with flat ones? So here my take on it

thanks! I got crazy and decided I'd see what all the walls looked like if i did a border i just did it with tacks to see if i liked it i'm not sure if it makes it a little too over the top or not!

i have this same idea! i have a little tiny kitchen in my 1br apt, and theres this little lip of wall above the cabinets and its the perfect size for a record. so i was going to line it with them.

but i might take your curtain idea. i want the same feel in my kitchen.

i found this awesome diner table at a flea market with the metal siding and leather chairs. and the chairs were pink! it was perfect, but almost $400.

anyway, i love it.

I really like the border!  If it were me, I'd go crazy, though, and paint the cabinets robin's egg blue and tack another record right in the middle of each one. Smiley
