ook my kids just made these, I just had the inspiration, lol. these are plastic trinket boxes with tiny Styrofoam beads in them (like you find in a bean bag chair  Roll Eyes with googly eyes and pompoms and ric rak. You could do these with the clear glass ornaments everyone was talking about earlier.
they look alot cuter in person!

These are horribly difficult to properly photograph, but I figured, since I haven't seen anyone else post them, I would give it a shot (I've never posted anything before, other than swaps).

Extremely easy to make, just buy the clear glass ornaments, print a picture out on transparency paper, cut it to fit the ornament, curl it up and slide it in.  I once read somewhere that they recommend glitter, but as you can see from the ornament in the rear, it's not the best idea - too much static makes it cling to everything and it's hard to make out the photo, otherwise the other 2 photos are very vivid IRL.

Neat-O looking! Any suggestions for where to buy transparency paper?

I wonder if you could use vellum scrapbook paper. That's about the same thing right? I know you can print words but I wonder if pictures show up?

Great idea on thin paper because I made one for a friend like that but with glossy printer paper and let's just say it was a pain trying to get it in the hole  Wink

I love all of the ideas so far btw  Smiley

Yes, vellum works too.  Thats what I used when I made mine.

I love the lucky star filled ornament,  I have some plain ornaments like that but I wasn't sure what to do with them.  I may just fill them with lucky stars.  Thanks for showing the pics.

I made these ornaments last year,

They look great on the tree what ever colour you make them in.  I was so impressed that I have made quite a few of them.

There are photos of other colours and a mini tutorial on the post here:

These ornaments are simply gorgeous! If I manage to find the time between all the other projects I'm already working on (gah!) I'm definitely going to make these!
