Hey everyone! Would anyone want to do a Holiday Postcard swap? I was in one last year and it was alot of fun and very easy. I couldn't organize, but I would totally participate!!!

Maybe we could like pick having 1-3 or so partners?

any takers? any organizers?

I love the idea! Exotic postcards make me want to see more and more of the world, and my postcard wall always welcome additions.

Having never done one of these swaps before, what is involved? Does everyone receive from the same person they sent to? Or does everyone receive from a different person they send to?

This looks like the height of non-commitment. Sounds fun.

Last time I did it we were able to pick having between 1 to like 3 or 5 partners, then we'd send to them and they'd send to us. I did one once where everyone made a christmas/holiday/chanukah card and then another where it was a local card OR homemade.

Yea with all the Christmas crafting I'm already doing I figure this would be easy, but still allow us to enjoy swapiness.  Cheesy

Okay, I'm thinking of signups in the next week... or maybe early Jan. Who's interested?

3 cards each. Show off your local area!

Just a word of warning, I've been in 2 postcard related swaps and a lot of people seem to get bored if they receive too many cards and just don't ever post them. So 1-3 cards received for each person should work well, but any more than that and there will probably be a lot of people who just don't bother, unfortunately.

Thanks for the heads up raeonix.

Might make signups mid Jan. Any time before and I'll be mid move. Everyone okay with that?
