I don't believe I can post photos directly at this time, but I couldn't hold out much longer so I've posted links.  I wanted to share my Jack-in-the-box (or rather Jacka$$-in-the-box) Kim Jong il.

He's made of super-sculpey with cloth arms (yes, you can see stitching on the shirt and I even sculpted a zipper!).  The arms each bobble separately and the figure itself also bobbles.  His glasses are made of wire and shrinky-dink and the box is wood.  The handle turns, and although there is resistance there is no music or anything.  The whole thing stands about 10" high.

ETA:  Links fixed

Oh, wow, haha, I think this is absolutely fantastic and clever. I think you should make more of these.
What kind of paint did you use?

Hi, I'm in your boards, acting like a stupid.

The paint was just basic acrylic crafting paint (except for the green of the box which was spray-painted).

I will be taking a 3D Illustration course next semester so I'm looking forward to creating more three dimensional stuff. I'd never really done much like this before.

eta:  After painting the entire thing was sprayed (fabric too, but the glasses were removed) with clear satin spray paint.

Shocked That is awesome! He is so detailed! I love that he's hiding a missile behind his back and doing the Dr. Evil pinky-finger thing.  Cheesy What an adorable little dictator! Much better than the real-life Kim.

That is so amazing, what detail! I love the contrast between the fact that its a childrens toy and souch an adult subject kinda like political cartoons. :^)

JackA$$ in a box - SO funny!

(and such great work - very nice)

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).
