Yay, I got the rest of my fabric! I found some more black and whites to round out my collection, and decided to put some turquoise with it! Also got more of one of the brown and greens I didn't have enough of, and found another awesome brown and green! Now I just have to find time to cut and package everything. I'll probably end up mailing this weekend from the 24 hour post office.

And, sadness, we didn't get any mail today or yesterday which is extremely weird, I was hoping for more fabric packets! And obviously there won't be mail tomorrow <pouting>

I think I just entered the Twilight Zone! I was sitting at the table, cutting up my fabric, with my sewing scissors, with the ironing board right next to me. and I heard a loud POP! sound. I actually screamed a little, I startle easily. I looked around, but couldn't think of what made the sound. I turned back and knocked the iron on the floor. I picked the iron up. Then I realized my scissors were missing. That was an hour ago, I still can't find them! I didn't get up or anything, where the heck did they go??? Now I guess I have to cut the rest of the fabric with my rotary cutter.

Yay, I found them!  Grin I wasted more than an hour though, super frustrating. My mom asked me if I'd looked in the garbage. There was a tiny garbage can behind the ironing board...they must have fallen in there when I knocked the iron over, but I was so worried about the hot iron full of water that I didn't notice, and the scissors are heavy and fell to the bottom!

I finished cutting out my black and whites, with an added color...I keep saying it's turquoise, but maybe it is a birght blue...I have trouble naming shades of blue sometimes lol!).  I'm going to package it up during Survivor and get my second group out out before I go to bed. Have to work at 730 tomorrow  Cry

I'll be starting work on my blocks tomorrow.  I had intended to start today but I ate a lot of turkey and then I fell asleep.  Roll Eyes

I finally got together all of my fabric and assembled and labeled all my packages today. It feels good to have it all done! Now I just have to go to the post office after shopping and wait in yet another line.  Tongue
