aaaaaaand we're CLOSED!

thank you to Laural for stepping up and filling the last spot!

The organizers will be getting their info this afternoon, and will pass it on to their group members from there.

I am drawing up a spreadsheet right now!  It'll be hung in my crafting area and Ill be able to mark off when I get new blocks, when I finish other peoples blocks, etc.  This way I hope to be able to avoid any confusion that Im sure annoyed the hell out of the organizers last round.

Here is the link to the gallery:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=278288.0

Many of you have already done it, but everyone needs to go ahead and reserve one spot in the gallery. Even if you are in more than 1 group, you just need one spot. And remember, no chatting in the gallery until everyone has their spot reserved!  Tongue

Kaisha, could you share an example of that? This being my first swap of this nature, I'm not sure how to keep track of it all.

woo-hoo!  that's great news!  thanks for stepping up, guys.  i don't think anyone will regret being in two groups ... perfect quilt size, IMHO.

(of course, i am 6'4" ... so my idea of a lap quilt might be a bit different than most people's).

I am excited we are about to begin!  Thanks to everyone who signed up for an extra group to help us along.  I am going to look through my fabric tonight to find something for my second group.  I think I will make a baby quilt with my second groups fabrics.  Three of my co-workers are having children in the spring.

Sure!  I tried to make it totally idiot proof for myself so that's why it's so simple

(Okay I THINK I fixed it so it's viewable by everyone; let me know if that dosen't work.)

kaisha- that spreadsheet is just like the one I made. Almost exactly the same, actually!

If any of you guys make a spreadsheet like that and make it public to view (but not edit) that may really help the organizers keep track of the packages. Maybe if you posted the link in your gallery spot with your blocks, the organizers could check up on everyone's personal spreadsheets and check it against the master spreadsheet to make sure nothing is overlooked. Just a thought.

ALSO- I mistakenly didn't add thatbluesea to the swap (I misread her date of signup, silly me!) but have since taken myself out of group 3 and added her in. Smiley

Thanks FlashleyAshely for adding me! Now I have to go get fabric, I spent last night sleeplessly deciding on a color scheme.

Excited!
