If you are working on (or thinking about starting) a postage stamp quilt with 1.5" squares, I have scraps and squares to give away.  PM me if you're interested.

Gordongirl and chinarockfishakm, I am glad you joined us!  It is nice to see old bloggy friends in our craftster swap!  It is also awesome to see so many repeat offenders like glittergirl94, ritapizza, jq_adams, 1boy1girl1kitty2, whoopdedoo_5, lourapalmr, and kaishabackwards-obviously southernflower and flashleyashley as well for making this swap happen! Smiley

Some of you need to get off that fence and join us or join us again! *cough-stafishtalyz-cough*

I am seriously debating using some of the pampered pooches line-http://mordac.unitednotions.com/storefrontB2CWEB/simplesearch.do?action=process_simple_search by Moda for a lap quilt for my brother and sil.  This would be a Christmas present for next year.  I would be so far ahead of my usual schedule!

2 things:

I started the gallery thread so you all could post pictures of your fabrics and whatever else. Please just reserve ONE SPOT and keep the chatter on this thread until everyone has gotten their spots reserved (which won't be until after signups are over.)
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=278288.0

also, I added another part to the questionairre. It just states that you agree to make a progress post every Monday. For those of you who've already signed up, I assume that you are all aware of and agree to this requirement. If there are any questions, please post here or PM me.

I decided that I'll be using the same fabric from round 2 so that I can make a full quilt!

So overall then what is the good amount to send?
John said 18x11 pieces are good so there is enough for a variety of blocks to be made. Would 4 of the 18x11 be enough? Just wondering cause I have fabric I bought a long time ago and I have 4 colors. They were all meant to go together but I forgot what I was making with them. HAHA! So Im going to use it and save me having to buy anymore. It wintery theme snowflakes, blues and purples. Thanks!

Anyone wanna help a good cause and buy a sonography class cookbook so I can go to a seminar in September? They are $15 alone, and $20 with handmade potholders. PM me!

That should be plenty chinarockfishakm!  That is about a half yard of fabric. Grin

Would even 9x11 pieces be enough if I had like 5 or 6 fabrics? I just looked and I have 2 blues, 2 purples, the coordinating snowflake fabric, and maybe some white.
Whats the usual amount the "veteran" people usually send? HAHA!

I think in the last round I sent pieces that ranged from 9x11 to 10x12 with about 6-7 pieces per packet.  That is more than is expected, but it allows more variation in fabric choices.  Five is enough for the requirements, but six is better.   You also don't necessarily have to send all the colors to everyone.  So maybe you send a bigger piece of one to half the group and a bigger piece of another to the other half.  Does that make sense?   I sent a variety of fabrics in the last swap.  I think I had 12 different prints and sent 6-7 of these to each individual person.
