yes, yes, yes! I am doing a fun paisley quilt and the new surf and sand fabrics out! love them! I also have a few block to finish up my previous amy butler quilt!

OK I caved... sent in my info this afternoon...  It didn't help much that I had already decided that I wanted my next quilting project to be all solid fabrics.     Hoping to get the fabric sometime this weekend!  I think to keep things simple this round, I'm in three groups, I'll be making everyone the same block.  =)  Can't wait for the gallery so we can all post pictures of our fabrics!

I gave very serious thought to this round but the dates just don't work for me.  I have a casual job and most years no one takes holidays in the winter but this year a number of people I cover for decided that Christmas to mid-February was a good time to go away and so I have lots of work booked.  Plus we are going away for Christmas so I just don't feel I can add the pressure of getting 12 or more squares done.  Have fun, though!

i'm doing three groups again!! one group will get fabric to make extra squares for the quilts i started in past groups, and one possibly two will get batiks that i have been collecting since round 2 (after seeing Audrey1999's) so i am pretty well set i think lol

I've gotten a few questions via PM and thought that everyone else might have the same thoughts/questions so I'm posting the answers for all to see:
are there any requirements to prevent flakers this round?
Yep, we're doing a weekly check-in each Monday. It was discussed before, but I just added it to the swap info this morning so people may not have seen it yet. If you are going to miss a check-in because of vacation or whatever (I understand that the holidays are busy!)
can I send my fabric together with other swappers?
As long as your fabric is in a separate ziplock bag that has your address label and information in it, it's perfectly acceptable (and recommended) to send your fabric with another swapper to save $$.

I joined this swap, it's my 1st doing it.
I am planning a trip to the fabric store this week-end, I am thinking 5 different fabric but we'll see.
Now I have a question, how much of each fabric should I send? I am fairly new at this.

EEk, I am so excited! I have a couple swaps in progress right now, but I think I am not going to sign up for anymore the next couple months to concentrate on this! I was looking at blocks in various books while I was at work today. I have two different color schemes in mind, but probably will just see what inspires me at the moment when I'm shopping.
