alright- we're down to just FIVE spots left! Since the last group is over half full, I'm not going to cut back to 24. That means that we can't close until ALL the spots are full!
Anyone who is on the fence and eligible- now is your chance! Anyone who is already in the swap but was thinking about adding another slot and is eligible- now is your chance!

So I saw this kind of fabric I had never seen before...it was on the bolt and divided into 4ths horizontally and was 4 color schemes of the same pattern. Does anybody know what I'm talking about or what it's called? My sil wanted me to get it, but it was a little too matchy match for me, and none of the patterns really blew me away.

yep. That's called 'running eights' cause it's 1/8 of each fabric.
I bought some for the last round of this swap, and I hated that fabric the whole time. It just wasn't quite right, ya know?
I have seen some really awesome running eights before online somewhere. I think it's a pretty genious idea, really, especially for quilting. I wish I could find them again...

I got sucked in... are you really surprised?  Smiley

I bought some running eights before to add to my son's quilt.  Like you Ashley, I was not in love with them once it came time to use it.  I think I would only buy them again to use as a cheater quilt.

I have the fabric I want to use for this round.  i just need to get a picture of it.  I will be making a picnic quilt out of the blocks I get back from this round.

And so I could sort of justify joining up, I pulled out the previous rounds blocks and am working on piecing them together.  I forgot that I need to make two blocks for each of my last rounds quilts so I searching for some easy block patterns.
