Glad to hear that we're all (semi) back to normal and back at the machines Smiley
I am still not quite back on schedule (I still have 3 weeks of vacation from school!!) but I am going to try to get back on schedule this week with sewing/dieting/sleeping/etc. I received a really adorable block from LibbyK in the mail this week and am excited to start putting this quilt together in the next month, cause it's going to be really, really awesome!

Hey Libby, I was reading one of my regular blogs and she put a picture of a quilt she made inspired by someone else  ~ YOU, I followed the link only to find YOUR BLOG!

How fun is that!  The internet is such a small place sometimes.

If you are working on (or thinking about starting) a postage stamp quilt with 1.5" squares, I have scraps and squares to give away.  PM me if you're interested.

Hello swappers!

I've been informed by the mods that it is required that all swap packages now must be accounted for with a delivery confirmation number. Since this swap is already underway and we've all agreed to the rules on the first post, this rule will not be fully enfoced until the next round of this swap. However, if you are able to use a DCN it is recommended both my the mods and by myself. From the PM's that I've gotten and through talking to people, it seems like many of you are already using DCN's so we're on the right track here!

A few things to remember about using delivery confirmation...
- it costs around .65 per package if you buy it at the post office (it's the neon green slip) and .18 if you buy your postage online
-When shipping out of your country, no DCN is needed but do keep your receipt and package # is there is one
-your envelope must be .75 inches tall to use a DCN, so fold your quilt block up a few times, wrap it in bubble wrap or throw a couple of packing peanuts or a wad of tissue paper in there to make sure it meets this requirement. It's usually not a problem with this swap, but better safe than sorry!

If you have any questions about this requirement or about using delivery confirmation, feel free to PM myself or your friendly group organizer. Once again, we will not fully enforce this rule until the spring round of this swap, but if you are able to use delivery confirmation for your outgoing packages it will give you some peace of mind and help track down the package in the case if it going missing. Thanks everyone!

Hey all,  I am SO loving how my blocks are turning out, that I thought this would be one of my entries this year at the Sisters Quilt Show in Oregon ( http://www.sistersoutdoorquiltshow.org)

So I am asking
         1) permission, and
         2) if you are OK with this, how would you like your name to read on the label?

Now, Obviously I haven't finished the quilt yet so any number of things could go wrong and this won't happen.  But no pressure here, if you don't want to be included; let me know.
