We need high quality crafts for a new arts and crafts gift gallery opening in St. Cloud on October 15.  We are currently seeking craftsmen specializing in basket weaving, pottery, wood carving, metal working, quilting, jewelry making or any kind of of unique handmade craft.  We would love to have someone make handmade wrapping paper. Co-op memberships are available or straight consignment.  We also have a large training classroom where members can conduct classes. This is a great opportunity to join the Saint Cloud Gift Gallery at the ground floor.

Hi, everyone! I'm Lori in Davenport. Great to find you all! Yay!  Cheesy

I'm originally from Oklahoma - Sooner-born and Sooner-bred (if you know the Boomer
Sooner song, you know the rest of the line LOL), but my hubby brought
me down here a few years ago. I am familiar with Florida, though - we
were stationed at Patrick AFB in the late 70's.

My crafts encompass primarily Military Family items, but I'm getting
back into home decor, accessories, and "regular, civilian" jewelry
LOL. My nickname is Mooma - given to me by my middle Marine son and his friends.
It sounds strange I know, but I sure smile when they say it.  Smiley

I'm a military brat, so I moved a lot. Some of the best things I like
about new places are learning from the local people, sharing ideas
from my perspective & area, and all of us being able to blend both.

Thanks for having me - I hope to be a positive addition to the group.
I'm excited about learning & sharing here.

Lori/Mooma

Hi I'm in Kissimmee.  I sell on etsy.com and love to make all kinds of crafts.

I'm part of the FEST Florida Etsy Street Team and I have organized a small event here for Dec 6, I am still looking to fill a few spots, you don't have to have a huge inventory to sell at it since it's like a home show.

I posted info here about the event.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=279472.0

I am also trying to put together a street team for central florida crafters in specific areas as I seem to be too far from most of the members of FEST and can never go to any of the events the post about.

If interested let me know, would love to have a street team for us in Kissimmee, Poinciana, Davenport and St.cloud, probably some other areas too.
Here is where I posted that info looking to start that team, I'm sure there are some who sell on etsy here if not you should check it out. http://www.etsy.com/forums_thread.php?thread_id=5873040

I'm Maggie in Casselberry/Winter Park.

I mostly sew clothing/costumes and just started to crochet toys, though I'll try just about any craft or DIY project at least once. I work in computer graphics for a living, do some fantasy illustration on the side, and really enjoy cooking, gardening, and gardening.

I just like making stuff and creating in general.  Grin

Nice to meet you all!

I'm in the New Port Richey area - about 20 minutes north of Clearwater.  I love knitting, cross-stitch (counted, not stamped) and am toying with the idea of having my mom teach me how to quilt.  I started a charity, Hats For Heroes, where we make homemade items for the brave men and women overseas in our Armed Forces.  There is a post over in the charity section (Crafting for Good Not Evil) that has more details.

If anyone in the area is interested in joining, I would love to host a knitting circle some afternoon!

Happy knitting,

Amy

I'm Clermont too!  Cagan Crossings has a farmers market every wednesday, and there are a couple craft booths set up every week.  I live here and have never been able to find out how to go about joining the market or the art show (happens at least once a year). If I find anything out, I'll let you know.
