I want to knit a penis cozy because it's starting to get chilly in NYC now.
I've heard about them a lot the past couple years, but I can't seem to find a pattern online.

Anybody want to help a fellow knitter out?
I'll love you forever.  Smiley

I don't know why I'm trying to reply to this . . . I have zero experience with male anatomy, so heaven knows I've never tried knitting for it, but I assume you'd take your basic finger pattern from any glove, make it bigger, add some ribbing to the bottom to help it stay on, or rib the entire thing to allow it to conform to the general shape without having to add any shaping, and for the love of your own sanity use a soft yarn that doesn't itch at ALL.

Stripes or cables could be added if you feel the need to add something to keep your interest while knitting it.

I recently got a friend addicted to knitting.  The look of madness and terror in her eyes as she whispered, "Maybe just one more round and then I'll stop . . ." will warm my twisted heart for weeks.

If you're on Ravelry you can find a couple patterns there.

one of my ex's that i'm still on good terms with (mainly in that department  Wink)actually requested one for xmas. he also requested a jump rope for some reason...but anyways, i made one that looked like an actual sweater, including sleeves, for shits and giggles (mostly giggles.) but what i did was casted on 30 with size 3 needles, and worked 2x2 ribbing until it reached right under the head, then worked in stockinette for about an inch and a half so it could either stand up as a turtleneck or be rolled down as a collar. i find rolled down looks better  Cheesy sew your seam, then for the sleeves, mark where you'd imagine a penis's arms would be if it had any. (i suggest trying it on first to make a more accurate judgement) pick up 4 stitches at this mark and work an icord until its as long as you want it to be. repeat for second arm. add buttons if desired. have fun, and happy knitting!

Oh yeah! I forgot all about Ravelry!
I found some patterns on there. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you guys are on Ravelry, too, add me!

I'm not going to buy one on Etsy because 1) I already know how to knit and 2) I'm always broke.

I saw an old lady selling these at a craft sale last month. She called them "Peter-Heaters" and she had literally hundreds of them in all different sizes and colours ^_^

I made my BF one, he called it a cock sock.  I just made it up as I went along.  I worked in the round and started with about 3" of 2x2 ribbing, then switched to stockinette stitch for the rest.  I did some decreases as I got toward the head part, but that was really it.  More like a mitten without a thumb than a sock since there isn't a heel.
