As a beginning sewer, I have just been lurking, reading and soaking in every bit of information that I possibly can.  I have learned a ton!  Now, I have come to a problem that I need help with!

Not too long ago my petite 3 year old daughter was drowning in her 3t jeans, now as of yesterday they fitting in the waist with the little sizers pulled but are almost  too short and I assume will be too short in the near future.

Question.... how can I add length to my daughters jeans? She has several pairs and they are all BRAND NEW!  I am open to just about anything Smiley Suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!!!

1)  Easy cheating way to instantly gain 3/4 inch:  Pick out the hem and iron them.

2) Look through the archived posts in children's clothing for all the people who have added length with a strip of fabric.  They add it on the bottom, sometimes embellishing with ribbons, ruffles.  Look for inspiration from Nylaskye

3) Cut them off into knickerbockers, britches, or pedal-pushers.  I saw a little girl of about 3 the other day wearing knckers-style pants and almost melted!
