I received my swap angel package from inle_rah on saturday. I had no clue what she was sending and I was greatly surprised!!!


Here is a group shot: Two fleece cowl type scarves (i've been drooling over these!), handspun yarn, roving and a drop spindle!!! I cannot wait to try spinning!! Especially after this gorgeous skein of yarn that I am guessing she did

I am glad that you liked your package, TWSS.  I had fun being an angel for you.  Yes, I did make the skein of yarn that I sent.  Spinning is addictive, as you will soon see.  I also dyed the roving for you, so I hope that you like the colors.

Here is the stuff I sent out super late.... thatswhatshesaid got an old school mario and luigi crocheted scarf connected with granny squares that was inspired by this (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=276196.0) and an eggplant pin cushion. Lapoli got cat toys and an embroidered clothespin bag to hang on her line as well as the cat nip I put in the toys. It was my first time changing crochet color mid-row and I think I did pretty well. I lined the mario and luigi with flannel, they are pockets!

Yeah I'm kinda bummed that the package i sent you went missing.

Learnt something new though: NEVER send or join swaps during busy periods such as christamas e.t.c.

I did a set of two "girly" plaque/hangers for sewsilly

I got the idea from a few I saw on Ebay and thought her daughter was the right age for bratz and tinkerbell.

I can't for the life of me find the bratz hanger photo but I do have the one of tinkerbell.....plea se excuse the blacked out background as at the time things in the background were a little messy...LOL



It is a painted plaque background with tinkerbell decoupaged on it and then coated with clear varnish.
