Yayyy, Hallowig! Now that I know how easy three-needle bind-off is, I'll be making lots more.

The pattern is from Knitty's Fall 2004 issue, http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATThallowig.html.

Tell me what you think?

Maybe three or four hours. It's kind of monotonous, but rewarding :3

I am so very jealous!! I just tried making one of these, and it was an epic fail. I don't know what the heck went wrong, but it sure went. The thing ended up insanely small, and the bangs were all wonky. Guess that's what I get for knitting on the cta...

Hey, Nymphara,
I was in the same boat, then figured out a crocheted version.  I posted it here on Craftster.  Lemme find it...
Hah!  Here it is:   http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=223606.msg2416520#msg2416520
There's one error that I overlooked.  Here's the fix, I think:
...You should sc the 20 on row 19, ending with a one chain, then add 3 chain at the end of row 20
Hope you can figure out the pattern.  You'll want to make it a bit bigger by making the body longer (but the bangs should be just about right), since this one was made for a baby.

I love it!!!
So Cool!!!

I want to make one too... but I only know how to crochet, not knit.

That is so cool! I need to get better with my needles, ie. I need more patience.
I hope I'm not the only one who saw the preview and said "um what did she craft?" and then I came here and "Oh hello that is not hair!".
