Front page disclaimer due to use of the word fuck  Grin  I think this is hilarious, that I put a "not safe for work" here, mainly because I stitched this entirely AT work, and my manager stopped by my cubical half way through and busted out laughing when he saw what I was making.  But I guess not everybody works third shift and has laid back managers  Cheesy

Anyway, this is my 2nd attempt at cross stitch.  If you remember my first attempt I posted about a week ago, it was very uneven and I screwed up the border.  I think this one turned out so well because there was no border  Wink  I am quite happy with how it turned out, and I plan to frame it and give it to my MIL for Christmas, because, well, it's perfect for her.

It still needs to be ironed, butttt....

Blurry attempt at a close-up of stitching

As always, feedback and comments greatly appreciated, thanks for looking Smiley

I love it! (Since it describes how I will feel during the holidays...  Cry)
Great to have such a nice boss. And it's only your second attempt at cross-stitching? You wouldn't say! Did you make up the pattern yourself?

The pattern is not my own, it's from subversive cross stitch.  After I master a few more patterns to get the hang of it I want to start making my own up though Smiley

That is so weird!  I just started a happy fucking holidays cross stitch!  It's WAY different from this one but still... weird.

Haha I love it!  Is that your own pattern?  If not where did you get that wonderful (and oh so true) holiday pattern?

Great job! Your backstitching looks great too - that is one of those things I struggle with.

Nice job on the x-stitching. Your MIL must have a good sense of humor -- mine would freak if I gave her something with a curse word on it ;-).
