I recently completed two February Lady Sweaters - and want to show them off!

The sweater I knit for myself I did in my favorite color, purple.  It's Lamb's Pride Worsted in the color Clematis:



The second sweater I knit for my mom in some Noro she'd bought to knit herself a sweater and then just never got around to it and so gave me the yarn.  I knit her this in return:



Gosh, that picture is sort of blurry.  Here's a closer image and not as blurry:

Thanks, everyone!  For ANYONE who is hesitating about knitting a sweater because it scares them, or whatever - knit this one. 

Basic worsted yarn, so LOTS of choices (I've seen lots of them in cotton floating around on the 'net).

Top down, so almost NO finishing.

Simple 4-row lace pattern that is EASILY memorizable.

Lots of people out there have knitted this, so there is a LOT of experience and a LOT of help available to you.

I just don't think you can go wrong with this sweater.
