sewingscared, don't be afraid! fear is the biggest obstacle Wink and make your first corset from some crappy fabric that you can afford to waste! it's super easy, especially with the good tute on this site!

Wow, I love the corset ! not so fond of the fabric though
What's that in the front? I have seen that on many corsets before but I don't really know what those are and what they purpose is?

it's called a busk ("plansetti" in finnish, so if you see me using that somewhere.. it's the same thing ; )

it means that the corset is easy to put on and take off; it opens the front. there are hooks which open when the corset isn't tightly laced.
