This could have gone under several different categories but here it'll land!

My brother and his fiance' live 10 hours away and their birthdays are very close together.  Since we can't afford to be with them on their birthdays we thought it would be funny to send a party in a box.  So...the kid's made party hats, we bought a cake mix, icing and candles and then I stuffed the kids!!!!  It was a quick and easy project and we think they'll get a kick out of it.

Everything...

Just the stuffies...

I used material on the back to match their personalities...

Would love to hear what you think and any suggestions for other fun things to put in before we tape up the box!

This is a FANTASTIC idea!!! Shocked  How imaginative!  I know your brother and his family will LOVE receiving this!

Perhaps you could include some home-made games.  Do they have a pet?  You could make a "Pin the Gills on Goldie" mini-poster.  Or get a small gift and wrap it up ten times for a game of hot potato.

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

I think that's a perfect gift for far-away family!!  How did you do the stuffed kids?  Is it just transfers printed from the computer and ironed on the fabric??  Thanks!

How did you do the stuffed kids?

They are just transfers on fabric.  I stuffed them with poly-fil, plastic pellets for weight and some used dryer sheets because I ran out of poly-fil.  Easy and cheap!

This is super fun! You could throw in some balloons they can blow up and some crepe paper streamers so they can decorate with them.

Great idea and very cute!
