Yay, finally got round to it! I made mine from an old pair of black jumbo cord trousers - from one of my various fashion phases. I'm so pleased! I'll post pictures soon. Thanks so much for the amazingly simple tute!

i totally just made this hat tonight after i saw your tutorial (which was fabulous, by the way).  i made it from some leftover courdoroy (sp?) fabric i had.

the only thing was, i didn't like the way the points were looking on the top of my hat.  so, i took them in and made the hat more fitted to my head.  and i LOVE this hat.  i will probably wear it everyday for the rest of the week...

That is so mad, I love it! I am definitely making one of these soon! Too bad summer is just around the corner here but O well  Smiley At my uni we have these covered button making things, 'kit's or whatever. They are like a round metal button with another 'layer' that you kind of wrap in cloth and then 'pop' onto the bottom bit. Sorry if that makes absolutely no sense but you can make the most gorgeous cloth buttons with them and it's really easy. Thanks for the tute.  Smiley

These are so insanely great. I wish I had the sewing machine here, but it's at my parents' house...
