OK, I am finally getting around to getting my photos up here. TAOJ made a wonderful stocking package ... thanks so much, again!

A beautiful cream colored stocking, felted, I think. It is really soft, and has no seams, so I assume it was felted.


Wonderful hand-knitted socks (my favorite!!) that I am looking forward to wearing tomorrow  , a great scarf, a really yummy hot chocolate kit (complete with whisk!) and a journal


Organic soap, trims for projects, a lint remover (to capture all the dog hair that winds up on my projects), High School Musical baggies (The Child is going to love these), a big chocolate chip cookie in a snowman tin, also for The Child, and many lovely munchies.


I love all of it, and cannot say "Thanks" enough~

So I am finally home from my trip this holiday weekend.  I have uploaded the pics of the package I received from MissApril last week!  (So sorry for the delay!!)  I received such a fabulous package, I feel like the one I sent pales in comparison.

I thought this was such a clever idea when I saw this on etsy!  The days are magnetic backed and put on a muffin tin!

The bag is a much prettier color in person, so soft and buttery colored.  I've already used it to run errands 2 times.  The washcloths match my kitchen.    (I have developed and unhealthy obsession with knitted/crocheted washcloths.  I think I have a couple dozen...)

knit calorimetry and scarflette:

The both are great, the scarflette is so soft.  I wore the calorimetry all day on Thursday and on Friday when we went crabbing.  (The Oregon coast is cold!)

This is so gorgeous!!  I was stunned when I unwrapped it.  This is one of those things I put on my wists but never really expected to receive because it's so labor intensive.  You have such awesome knitting skills MissApril.  I am in awe...  I am bummed that he has such a giant head and he will not be able to wear this for much longer.


Thank you so much MissApril.  You are the most awesome-ist partner ever!!  (Keep in mind people, she did all this in the midst of moving!!)

Finally i have thwarted the evil designs of the builders, my camera lead and camera, I now can post pictures of the beautiful stocking  receieved from zuliblu

and a group shot of all the goodies, the candies have mysteriously disappeared since this picture was taken and my daughter has snaffled the sharpies (she adores them and we can only get black ones over here) and the christmas cards.

This is a super, fantastic gallery.  I really, really love that crocheted stocking!  And the idea for the muffin tin advent calendar is terrific.  I keep putting off making one until it is too late, but I could actually make one of those today!

I recieved yesterday, from the fab Baa Me Chick!


The elfin stocking! And Candy Canes!!!

Sweet decorations and pouches! Also a cute little pin and a knitted headband too!

An amazingly coloured scarf! Hehe The colours are pretty!

Candles/holders. I also got a larger snowman candle but somehow it escaped the photo taking!

Tonnes of jewellery/accessories! Some even have Hello Kitty beads!

Notecards! These are actually amazing, they all have sweets on the front. There are liquorice allsorts, jelly beans smarties and cupcakes!

But my favourite...A pair of knitted fingerless mittens, and matching hat! I have been wearing the mittens today, whilst out and about! The wool is so nice, a mix of turquiose, pink and purple, which are my fav colours! The photos do not do it justice!

I am so glad to have been part of this swap, regardless of what happened.
