I made this out of my leftover Noro Kureyon from my Hurry Up Spring Armwarmers. I just cast on 20 sts, knit in St st until one leftover ball ran out. Then I cast on 5 sts and worked in seed stitch until I had a good length for the strap. I attached the two together, then knit a seed stitch squarish shape to be the flap. It was then hand felted in my sink and thrown in the dryer with a  towel. I'm super pleased with the results and now my camera has a happy fuzzy home!

Adrienne, that's really beautiful!  It's so much nicer than my crappy, store-bought, boring case that screams, "Dork!"  Did you make the flap seed stitch, so it wouldn't curl?  Can that be a problem with felted things?

yeah, it was my first time felting something and it was the last of my noro so i didn't want it to be curled up at all. i didn't know if felting would fix curling or not. also i like seed stitch. i think it's cute.  Smiley

I love the color!
I want to make one for my bf camera, but he said that he doesn't want a girly case for his boy toy.  Even though I told him that he can choose "manly" yarn and colour.  Embarrassed
