I'd like to get some pink in my hair.  I think first I need to cut my hair, though.

hehehe - I think that we could do a better job of a religiously diverse commune than some could, since for the most part we are all "live and let live and tell me a bit about that cause it is fascinating and maybe I can use it?"  Wink

I have seen some pagan coloring book pages and I am sure that I read something once that was a series of small books for early readers that was pagan oriented, but I don't remember where that came from....  I think it was marketed as fairy tales....

BTStars- a lot of stories can be found online too, along with many children's Pagan crafts and even print outs. Just basically type in "Wiccan children's crafts" or "Pagan children's crafts" and you'll get a rack of stuff. And hey, you could always ask for a kids craft kit or Pagan children's story in a swap or personal swap   Grin

I am so going to get some of those books for Strider! I have a few pagan stories printed out from the net for him too.
I miss having colored hair, I just don't have enough time to spend dying it (those bright colors fade fast and I can't stand having faded hair) right now its a bad red. I need to go get some dye this weekend. I think I'm going back to the Feria's Chocolate Cherry. It's really dark burgandy. I lurve it lol.
I am glad that Strider has my Mom to be around so that he knows it's just not Mommy that is pagan. Daddy isn't pagan, but he's trying to trace his family line to see what Native American tribe he comes from, he wants to be more active in that part of his heritage. WOOT! That means PowWow's for us!! That makes me excited Smiley I am hoping that this happens, I would love for Strider to be connected to that part of his heritage as well. Strider also has his "Fairy God Father" Bill. LoL. He's my bestest guy friend from art school. Very pagan, very gay, very awesome. I am super happy Strider has him, he got his first glow in the dark skull nuk from him. hehehe.

Yeah I don't dye my hair too often either because of time.  I don't even have time for a haircut!  It's gotten to the point where I'm just growing it out for locks of love.  I really hate my hair color.  I told Devin for a long time that it is just ugly and he's never seen it before.  Now, with my hair not having been dyed in like a year, my hair is showing it's true colors.  I HATE it!  I get this really dark brown and then random streaks of  blond.  I'm freaking out because about a week ago I pulled my hair back into a ponytail and I saw the blond highlights coming in!  I don't think he believed me at first, but now he does.

Robot-thanks for letting me know!  I think I'll go through all those sites one day and print out a whole bunch and do something craft with them for the Kayleigh-cakes.  Devin and I decided to raise her with no religion, because that's how we were raised.  I turned to wiccanism and Devin claims he's atheist.  He so not atheist.  I don't care if  he is or not, but he believes in a greater force that's tied in with everything.  I don't remember the exact expression he used once, but it sounded like he pulled it straight from Taoism.  Silly boy.  Anyways!!  Devin and I now think raising her pagan is a good thing.  We also realize that if she decides to take another path, that is ok as well.

I love colored hair when its kept up and done well - I find it very cheery! My students know they can show off their hair, piercings, and tats cause I don't say awful thing s about it. I have my preferences, but try to appreciate where they're coming from!
I dye mine red - teacher and all keeps me sedate - not to mention older husband! lol

I'm sure we'd do a superb job cause I could sit and listen to info about all the paths forever. Crystals and candles and herbs and there's so much to learn! WE could become the most educated witches in the World!!! I say we earn our craftster coven degrees!

Keep sharing and growing
Blessings to you all

On hair color: at one time I was very proud that I had sucessfully dyed my hair every shade of red available at my local walmart. We have a local Sally's so I've just started to venture into their collection. I've had pink, red, black, blond, and purple. I love the bright non-mainstream colors, but they fade so quickly. I had bright purple streaks that changed to lavender in a week. I'm plain jane brown now. I also had my nose and lip pierced but I had to take them out for the employment search. Life was so much easier working in a tattoo and piercing shop. I miss that job.

On our own craftster coven: Please, please, please. I live in a smmmmmmmmmmmmmall town in tennessee, and i know ONE Pagan in my community. Craftster is the biggest group of WWP I've spoken too. It's so nice to talk to people who have similar beliefs to me. Smiley
