I've been accepted!!
I am so jazzed to participate in this swap.
Being in the closet in rural America poses challenges. Aside from my DD (dear daughter) I have no one to share my beliefs with.
The women in my family have all been slightly or more "witchy." My mother was clairvoyant and you disregarded a "vision" at your own peril. My grandmother was a water witch/diviner. She was called upon to find water well into her 80's. We're a hearty bunch.
I'm looking forward to working with my daughter - she's participating too. She's the one who introduced me to this site. I watched her last witchy swap and was so envious.
I agree - Let the crafting/swapping begin!!!

Windoverireland - I am totally stoked that we can give you an opportunity to network here, because I know what it is like to live in the broom closet in rural America as a solitary practitioner with no support system!  Undecided

My father was a "water witch" too.   Grin  He delved wells for all sorts of folks - and though he didn't really practice what anyone could consider a religion (at all), he was so in tune with nature that he could easily have been shamanist. He lived it without having to acknowledge it - because it was just who he was.

Windoverireland, I'm new to swaps and new to the whole witchy network that is here as well. So far it's been a great experience for me and I can't even imagine how I'll feel once we get to the swapping!! Cheesy

Welcome Windoverireland! Which craftster is your daughter? Did she participate last time? It's cool that we have family members here. :-)

ooooooh I'm getting excited already! I bought a box of blank cards and envelopes last year at Joann's and now I know why LOL! I'm hitting up the papercraft board and google for ideas! Robotarsonist ... what part of VA are you from? (yes, I peeked at your profile) I was born and raised in Hampton until 10 years ago. So I can understand all too well about needing a network.  Smiley Welcome to all new swappers!

Blessings
