oh no!  Not scary at all - in fact if you can hand knit it is even better because you can do all the ribbing by hand and the boring stockinette stitches on the machine - and cables?  a breeze on the machine let me tell you what - cables are just sweet on the machine!  Don't fear the machine.  It's easy peasy!

Awww - pump up the ego on me - that's all I need, aye?  I don't think you needed a teacher - just a friend to sit next to you to say hey! stop wrapping that yarn around your hook!!
Remember to practice every night (or so) or else I am NOT going to show you how to make my stuffies!  Cheesy

That is a healthy move in the right direction!  I hope you all get past it quickly!
Yeah - there will be a stuffie lesson in the future... all I know about stuffies in one quick afternoon... There isn't much to tell about them although I've got a few tricks of the trade Wink

Where and when are we meeting tomorrow?  Let me know and I will be there!  I'm looking forward to it.  I was a slave to the crochet hook yesterday and today I have been typing all morning trying to catch up on my work patterns - done!  Only took me 3 hours!
Now I am going to become a slave to the hook again and get a bit more done for the site.
