I've Googled Chicago craft groups and haven't found much at all which is disappointing. Winter is a coming and I want to do more comforting crafting and meet new fun people aka crafty folks. Anyone interested in meeting once a month or so to get together and craft in Chicago? Northside, downtown or southside in the city or near burbs? I've seen a few threads but it doesn't look like much came out of other requests. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

We have a group that meets once a week.  Different people volunteer to host each week but usually its in Logan Square.  We post under the "Cool Chicago peeps" forum but you have to click to the end to see what's new this week.  We'd love to have you join us.   Smiley

Hi, I've lived in Chicago for a few years now and still haven't met many crafty people. I live on the NW side, and would love to meet some sewers, punk rockers, and people who love diy as much as I do.
