No, it's a great question! 

A charm pack is a set of 5" squares, typically all coming from the same fabric line.  Usually there will be one 5" square of fabric for each design and color in the fabric line.  They're fabulous because they are already cut for you, so it is an easy way to make a quilt without having to cut much fabric!!
