Yay, another quilt!

I made this one for my sister, for her birthday.  It is made from three Moda Daydreams charm packs (gotta love charm packs!), and a sheet for the back.  I used the Disappearing Nine Patch pattern, which I found last year from the Sew Mama Sew blog during their quilting month.  They had a very helpful tutorial, I must say.

I did mostly straight lines for quilting, putting to use my walking foot for the first time.  That thing is great!  I really wanted to do free motion quilting, but the back is always all wonky when I do it.

It is 45" by 60", the perfect lap quilt.

This is really gorgeous!  Quilting is on my to-learn crafts list, and this is certainly inspiring!
