Well done. It suits her perfectly. The various materials/fabrics that you used look wonderful together.
When I first read your post I had trouble wondering why you would need to take so long to complete it unless your are like me - I start projects with great enthusiasm and often never finish because other important things get in the way. My youngest daughter's hair took about two years also to grow and then came all the golden curls.  Smiley
