I wanted to practice my skills in stranded colourwork, so I made these mittens. I liked how they turned out, but when they were done I realised that I mostly made them for the fun of knitting, so I let a friend take them. She was really happy to get them, so they got a nice new home with her. Smiley



I used this pattern: http://www.ullaneule.net/adventti07/ohjeet_egyptilaiset.html.
It's in Finnish, but there's a chart so you can work out the pattern even if you don't know the language.

I really like the colorwork you did, as well as the style of the mittens themselves! The tops are pointy as well as the thumbs...right on! Smiley
