i love how it turned out, still needs a few more deco's to pad it out but i'm very happy with it!

I "borrowed" the russian doll's (santa style) from my mum, she got them when she went on holiday to sydney, i adore them! too cute, i wish i could get my hands on some blank dolls.

I thought it was a picture from a catalogue and you were saying that this is the tree you had bought - till I looked a bit closer!  It looks beautiful, I wish our house looked as stylish as yours.

Big thanks to semicharm86 and also an apology for not getting these pics up sooner. My mother had to be hospitalized over the weekend so I wasn't able to do this before. She's going to be all right so I think we can all have a happy holiday now. I can't tell you what it meant to find this package in the mail. With all the other stuff going on, this was just the pick-me-up I needed.  We still haven't gotten our tree up, that will probably happen this weekend, but I wanted to go ahead and post my ornaments. Semicharm86 did such a great job. I know you'll agree. These are awesome!

Then this glittery ball. It's going to catch the lights beautifully:



She also did this red one that is feathers and trinkets. It's so pretty:



No matter how I try, at least one pic always comes out blurry. Red ornament, this was your turn. Gah!

Then, my favorite. You should see this in real life, it's gorgeous! It's so shiny I caught a glare no matter what angle I tried.



It's silver and has blue and yellow leaves made with polymer clay. The leaves are so detailed they even have veins. How she did it I don't know, but it's pretty impressive.

Finally, as an extra treat, I got me some Lemonheads. Yum!



And a recipe for Peppermint Pinwheels. I can't wait to try it out.

well what do you know.  another of your partners had the same idea as me.  put stuff IN in the ball, not just on it.  lol

the feather one made me wish I had thought of making one of those for my Harry Potter swap.  "Bauble full of Phoenix feathers".  that's what it look like to me.  oh well...but I may have to steal that idea.   

but I also love the leaves one.  you're getting all kinds of good stuff!

I have to admit that I'd never even heard of the Craftzine.com site until yesterday.  For some strange reason (I honestly can't remember why) I decided to do a google search for my username and was amazed how many links I found to it.  One of them was to this same site - back in May, one of my quilts was featured there and I had no idea.  The same one was also featured in another site.  Others should try googling their username and see how many hits you find, it's kind of fun!
