Oh my... if you expect to eat a good meal at my place, you'll probably starve. I'm a proletarian working girl, and when I come home, it's all about the kids, warming up whatever is in the fridge, checking homework, preparing shower, uniforms, pijamas...
And it's driving my husband crazy to suddenly see me making sweets and taking pictures of them! He's one of the kind that doesn't appreciate blogs and co. LOLOLOL  Grin

but...but...you are making sweets! That alone would get a "carry on" from my SO.
I want to thank you for posting these recipes. My SO's father worked in Brazil for many years and occasionally gets "homesick". I'm sure these will go over like gangbusters if I can manage to make them properly (so sad that I'll have to eat the mistakes Smiley )

These wonderful little kisses are going to be all the rage in Quito this Christmas! All 8 ladies that came over the other day were so impressed -- I was nice and translated the recipe for them. (It helps that there are only 4 ingredients and the directions are simple!)

I, too, was thinking that they'd taste great with chocolate somewhere -- something like an Almond Joy or a Mounds bar. Maybe next time I'll roll them in chocolate Jimmys.

Hi nruio,
I'm glad to hear about your "besitos quiteos"!
Do you by any chance have something to do with a school called Alliance Academy? That was my school when I was living there, and I still have vivid memories of those times...

I made these today and all I can say is I'm in Heaven! So easy to make and they taste divine! I can't wait to see what other yummy recipes you share with us!  Grin

AH ha!  My son in law is from Rio - I'll make some to bring to Thanksgiving dinner - see if it brings back any memories. Smiley  (He's a sucker for any Brazilian food he can get his hands on - his favorite - what do you call those little pieces of bread with the cheese inside?  He'd eat them til he burst!) Cheesy
