A line? Circle? I can't tell!
I recently lost this skirt on ebay and I figured to myself, I'll just make one. But I can't really tell what shape it is. Though maybe I could do a circle skirt out of wool?

Thanks for any help Smiley

This is a gathered skirt.
It would be super easy to make ....
1. make a waist band that is as big as you want it on your waist then ..
2. cut out a long strip of fabric probably 2x the width of the waist (or 1 1/2 for less gathers) and as long as you want it to be  plus maybe 4 or 5 inches.

3. then run 2 large gathering stiches at the top of long fabric.
4. gather to fit your waist band
5. slap on some cute pockets and a zipper!
hope this was helpfull

ahh, you beat me to it!
I was going to say that because of the way the plaid lines up, it leads me to assume that it is not a circle skirt.

A super cute skirt, that's for sure.
But, to me, it looks circular.

& after reading the above comments,
it's totally obvious that it's a gathered skirt.
Jeez.
