Whoopee! Just got back from 2 wks in Italy to find a juicy package from partner KRB. She did a great job putting together a lovely and functional set of knit and crocheted items including:
-a thick crocheted potholder
-a knitted cotton washcloth
-a crocheted handled bag/basket
...and finally, a crocheted scrubby with soap stitched inside; I love this item!
One question, is there a way to swap out the soap when it is finished?

Great swapping with you. Thanks KRB!!!

I was so excited to find that my package from RhymeswOrange arrived Friday -- it was super speedy in the mail!  I looooove my package!  It was wrapped up nicely with two beautiful hats (the flower on the beret style hat is even removable -- so cool!) and a pretty scarf and fingerless gloves (I so wanted a pair!) -- the colors are so pretty too!!!

Package as it arrives:

Hat#1:

Hat # 2 + Scarf:

Gloves (the picture doesn't do them justice -- I never realized how hard it was to photograph hands before):

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you --- to RhymeswOrange!!!! I love my package!

So glad you like your package Amnesia.  I agonized over it a bit!  Funny, it came together nicely once I gave up on completely matchy matchy and went with color harmony instead.  I think it looks fabulous on you.

I actually did two sets of arm warmers but set number one was too pink to go with your color palette.  I'll find them a nice home.

I am so behind, I apologize for not posting photos of the package you sent yet.  I just got back into town.  I'll get them posted tomorrow.

I hadn't even checked to see if there was a gallery yet.  Lovely stuff so far, early senders.

I've heard it both ways.

I'm looking to swap some knit &/or crocheted crafts for handmade CP/HP soap.

According to the DC number, CJKJ received yesterday.  Since someone's using the computer with the camera cable, I can't post pictures of everything, but there are some pretty awful pictures of one of the things I sent already uploaded:

She likes trees and asked for a picture to hang. It's only 4x6 (due to a lack of larger picture frames available for crafting). It's a mixture of fabric markers and machine sewing. I was going to bead it too, but I wasn't sure how tight a fit it would be in the frame.

I hope she likes it!
