Here is part of my package that I sent to Muria.

She had listed that she liked a shadowbox design that had a layered design.  I also saw that she likes to read Jane Austen, so I designed her a Pride and Prejudice shadowbox.  I tried to layer the pictures so that it gave a 3D effect from a 2D image.  Mr Darcy is layered once and Elizabeth Bennet is layered twice.

WOW! I haven't seen anything like that before, but that is pretty darn cool! Very unique and interesting!

It looks really great!  I have to find a good spot to put it, probably above my sewing machine. The sun's just starting to come up here, but it does look like it should be pretty clear (not overcast like the last week), so I should be able to get some pictures taken today.

I don't know if that's really how you layer things - it's just what my mind conceived     It has cardboard between the layers to keep them separated.

That is how they do it "professionally", like the layered pictures u can buy from stores except they don't put cardboard between the layers, they use small thin pieces of Styrofoam.

I received last week from CJKJ, but the weather's been awful for picture taking.  Fortunately, it was actually sunny today (really cold, but sunny).  So...


I received a really neat Pride and Prejudice shadowbox, four barrettes with buttons, a star ornament for my tree, a butterfly pendant, and an awesome (and already put to use) pincushion/thread catcher!  She even put a piece of boning in the thread catcher so I don't have to hold it open!  It's great, and I love it!!!
