This is a cushion I've made as a (prepared well in advance) christmas present.
It's made with an old gold silk dupion, with two extra long silk satin ties in a very pale buttery-gold.

This is the front with the bow tied.  Although you can tie it many ways - crossed over like a traditonal present, wrapped once as a really long bow etc

The back when the bow is tied, with the satin ties twisted around eachother then pulled back up to the front

The front when the bow is untied

The back, when the bow is untied completely, showing the satin ties stitched into the side seams (although these look wonky, they're both actually stitched in the middle of the cushion)

Here are the instructions for making if anyone is interested, it's really simple and quick to make, all in all in probably takes less than half and hour

up frankie. Im glad i saw this
tutorial before i did.
