Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Juno & Paulie,

This year my dear husband and I had a bit of a disagreement on what to be for Halloween, but since we went to two parties it worked out just fine. 

For the first party we went as Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac


I was really pleased with how the bruises came out, here's a close up of my black eye


Then on Halloween night we dressed up as Juno McGuff & Paulie Bleeker


My husband came up with a clever way to make a pretty realistic belly here's a close up of the belly


He cut a basketball in half, then turned it inside out and pushed the air valve out so it stuck out like a belly button.  Then we stuffed it really full with polyfil and I mad a kind of belly band out of nude swimsuit fabric.  It was awesome.  The belly button thing really freaked people out.  I'm already thinking of things to do for next year.

Q.B.-I made our bruises and black eyes with a collection of dollar tree eye shadow in green, purple & black, then I used this old cover girl lip gloss to finish it off and take some of the glitter look out of the eye shadow.  I just kind of stood in front of the mirror and kept working with it till it looked right. 

artist- thanks for the compliment, my husband will be psyched to hear someone else thinks he looks like Paulie Bleeker.  He is convinced that Michael Cera is his true doppleganger and that if they ever met in real life they would rip the space time continuum(lol). 

Halloween is totally our favorite holiday and we had a blast with the 2 costumes this year.

Ooo totally digging both sets of costumes! My bf and I went as Juno and Paulie as well. I love your belly prop! Mine was a little too squishy.
