Sign ups at this time have been closed and I am looking for anyone that signed up originally to send me thier entry form if you have not done so as yet. For some reason the franz has not been on Craftster for over a week - with the end of sign ups being during that time, so I volunteered to gather information once again and assign partners.

Hopefully she will be back to participate and be organizer before that second deadline. Anyone that was on the original list got a PM to send me the entry form. If I do not receive it by the new deadline I will not be able to include you as I will not be able to partner you with anyone.

I have asked that the original swap be removed from everyones profile and will enter this swap information as a substitution for that. So anyone who has not sent me an entry form by 11/5/08 will simply have had the swap removed from thier profile. the franz will be added in the event she needs to have negative feedback assigned, or if she returns in a timely manner I will partner her as a second partner or find a partner for her.

I hope that this does not create issues for anyone but if I am going to need to do this I will be doing it as fast as I can to get partners assigned.

Details of swap:
This swap is all about the elements: Earth, Air, Water, and Fire! We will be crafting for this swap based on the point system for total of 8 points, each of the 4 elements must be represented and at least 70% of your items must be crafted.

1 Point = 1 Small, 1 hour or less crafting time, purchased items less than $2.50 or found items

2 Points = 1 Medium, 1 - 3 hours crafting time, purchased items $2.50 - $5

3 Points = 1 Large, at least 3 hours crafting time, purchased items $5 - $10

The point system simply allows for flexibility in this swap, e.g. you've got a super awesome idea for fire but are having trouble with what to craft for air then you can devote more points to fire and less to air. This also opens up the option of crafting for the fifth element: storm/spirit, as suggested by craftster Ronda S. Remember though to try to keep a good mix of different sized items and to communicate with your partner about how you are planning to craft your points, just don't tell 'em what your making unless both of you decide it's okay.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
You have to PM the organizer and your partner when you both send and receive. If you are sending within US you need to get a DC# or tracking number. If you are sending internationally you must have proof of shipment in either a receipt or customs number.

We want to see all your goodies so if you don't have a digital camera please get your partner to take pics for you.

Please keep good communication with your partner.

There will be check-ins that will be done via PM. Also, everyone must post at least once a week on the thread.
