At the request of my boyfriend, I created these Yip Yip costumes!  He's the blue one, and I'm the pink one.

Vladimyr pointed me toward a tutorial to make these on www.instructables.com.  Thanks, Vlad!

I used crushed velour instead of the curly fleece fabric it calls for... I also don't have a picture of it, but the top of the mouths were flaps that are snapped up in place, and came down so we could eat/drink without taking the whole costume off.  I'm impressed with the way you can't see it at all in the pictures - yay!

And here's some pics:

And one with a friend who went as a FIB...if you don't live in WI, you may not know what that is...but up here, his costume was pretty freakin' hilarious:

Thanks for looking! Smiley

That's awesome!  My kids would SO get a kick out of that!  They laugh like crazy when the Martian segments come on Sesame Street.

And, Ok, I give up, what's a FIB?

Yay!! These are so cool! I saw a few of these at a Halloween concert here in Vermont, and it was great to watch them dancing!  Grin

Man, between the yip yips and the muppet critics, not only will the costume I made not win, but I have such a hard choice for voting!  Great costumes!
